Boudicca General Information

HOME FROM HOME.

Boudicca has attracted a band of loyal followers, thanks to her spacious layout and stylish interiors. An appropriate British historical theme is reflected throughout, with each public room, lounge and restaurant designed to ensure the mood is in keeping with her sister ship, Black Watch. Before entering service with Fred. Olsen Cruises, she was completely re-engineered to comply with Det Norske Veritas certification regulations to enable her to cruise in environmentally sensitive waters, such as the Norwegian Fjords, Baltic Sea and the Arctic region.

At 28,000 tonnes, Boudicca is small and intimate in an age of mammoth cruise ships. The more human scale creates a relaxed atmosphere where soon guests feel the ship is a ‘home from home’ and able to be themselves. The smaller size means the ship’s many facilities are not shared with the ‘madding crowd’. Passengers are offered a choice of dining options, from formal to the more relaxed, with a variety of cuisines designed to suit everyone’s palate. A wide selection of outdoor activities and entertainment is also available.Traditional deck games such as quoits and shuffleboard are a popular pastime when at sea, as well as enjoying the generous deck space to take in the sea air and ‘walk a mile’ around the ship’s deck each morning. If all the exertion sounds too much, guests can unwind in Boudicca’s heated outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzis – the perfect excuse to sit back and relax.
